Statewide Descriptor Table D32 Subsidiary

The D32 Subsidiary table defines the agency, General Ledger, and the title of a subsidiary account. A subsidiary is used for Interagency Billings to identify the billing agency and the paying agency.

D32 – Subsidiary Data Entry Requirements

Data Element Description
TABLE-ID-NUMBER Enter 32.
KEY DATA

GL ACCOUNT

Enter the four-digit general ledger number set up in Descriptor Table 31. This G/L account number should be the same G/L account number as identified on the transaction code to be used with this subsidiary. Posts to the subsidiary and document files under this G/L account number.

SUBSIDIARY

Enter the seven-digit subsidiary number for the subsidiary record.

When setting up for an agency, normally use the three-digit agency code followed by four zeros (2300000). To create more than one subsidiary for an agency, use the three-digit agency code, and then four numbers other than zeros.

REFERENCE DATA Leave blank.
TITLE Enter the name of the subsidiary account, up to 50 characters.
