CX - Pay Schedule Change

Purpose: This action allows an agency to create a pay schedule change for an employee.

 

  • The effective date must be a pay period begin date when changing the rate indicator.
  • For an annual employee, overrides would apply if the effective date is not a pay period begin date.

Note: If only the rate is changing, use the CC - Merit Increase Performance change reason.

When using the 'CX' change reason to change an employee from hourly to annual:

  • Either the schedule/grade, step; or the rate indicator must change.
  • The time sheet required indicator may need to be changed.
  • The adjusted contract amount may need to be changed.
