IA - Inactive, due to Acting Appointment (pay status = I)

Purpose: This action allows an agency to inactivate an employee that is being placed in a position where the appointment may not be permanent.  This code will also be system generated when the change reason 'AP' is used.  The time sheet required field will be updated to ‘Y’ and the pay status will be changed to ‘I’.
 
Position (pay) status must be equal to A (active) or B (inactive with pay) in order to use this change reason.
