Upon successful sign-in with your StateID and strong password, which is your first factor of authentication, you will see a new screen with a prompt asking you to START SETUP.

(the SCO Enterprise Dashboard sign-in prompt is sized and positioned to support maximum device accessibility and cannot be enlarged except with browser-based zoom)

Select the type of device you are registering, based on the authentication method your device can support and your own personal preference.

Select CONTINUE.

Mobile Phone or Landline:

If you selected Mobile Phone or Landline, next enter your phone number with area code.  Punctuation is allowed, but not necessary.

Select CONTINUE.

If the number you enter is valid, a green checkmark appears and you must place a CHECK in the “You entered (###) ###-####.  Is this the correct number?” box.

All Feature Phones, select Other.

For Feature Phones and Landlines, you will immediately be taken to the My Settings and Devices screen at this point.

If your device is a Smart Phone, DUO needs to verify that you have this device/number in your possession and at your disposal, in order to validate that you may use it.

Select Call Me or Text Me.  You will receive a call or text, respectively based on your choice, where a passcode will be given to you.

The text will come from the short-code number that represents the State of Idaho DUO account, which is 386732.  **THIS number is not the passcode.**

The text heading for device verification will say:  Verification code:

***IMPORTANT*** If you receive this SMS Text and have not pressed the DUO Enter a Passcode button in the last 60 seconds or so, please ignore the text.

The call will come from an 817 number, and is an automated voice.  It will state “Your verification code is ######.”  This will be repeated 3 (Three) times.

Enter the received passcode in the “Enter your 6-digit code” box.

Select VERIFY.

When you see the green checkmark, select CONTINUE.

**If you do not receive a green checkmark, try selecting Call Me or Text Me again, and try the process again.

Tablet:

If you chose “Tablet”, select which operating system of tablet you are using.

Select CONTINUE.

For Android Smart Phones and Tablets, you are then instructed to Install DUO Mobile for Android.
