AL - Reappointment from Layoff (Within agency) (Classified only)

Purpose:  This action allows an agency to reappoint an active employee, within an agency, into a position in which they are eligible for rehire due to a layoff.
  • A 'VX' change reason will be system generated one day prior to the effective date of the 'AL' change reason.
  • The reappointment may change the employee’s FLSA code from Covered to Exempt. When an employee changes from a Covered FLSA code to an Exempt FLSA code, any comp time accrued should be paid off.
